What is an ASV file?
Developed by MakeMusic, its Finale, a music note creator, uses the ASV (Auto-Save) extension. The format belongs to the backup file category and is a replacement to the older ASVX released with Finale 2014. The software automatically creates them when MUS files are in use. These are temporary files which the program deletes once the user exports the final output.
